The Startmate Fellowship is a pathway for talented people to find their sweet spot in a rocketship startup.
The Fellowship runs twice a year (winter + summer). Other than an optional trip to SF, it is run online, and outside of work hours.

Who is it for?
Startmate is excited to announce our next cohort is currently accepting applications for our first all-women cohort. We are inviting women of all ages, races, cultural backgrounds and LGBTQIA+ identifying women to apply. We have created this program with the understanding that gender equality can only move forward, with intersectionality at the forefront.
Whether you are a software engineer, operations manager, a graphic designer, work in hospitality, service industries, in sales and marketing, or are a recent graduate, our aim is to connect you to opportunities in our startup ecosystem.
If you are actively seeking new career opportunities, have recently completed a contract, are returning to work after parental leave, or are in-between employment - this program is for you.You don’t need to quit your current job to take part in the program, but we are looking for people who are committed to making a move.

How does it work?
The Startmate Fellowship is a 3-month program, including:

Optional internships at leading Australian startups
Optional trip to SF (additional cost to program)

Participation Fee
The Startmate Fellowship has a $1000 fee, or optional instalments of $250 deposit payment on acceptance to the program and $375 x 2 months. This will only be charged on acceptance to the program.
We understand $1000 can be prohibitive. Startmate is offering 10 scholarship placements to assist in alleviating financial barriers to entering the program. Read the terms for our scholarship and apply here
